LBC PROGRAMMES













§  LBC’s Annual Business/ Entrepreneurial Expo & Trade fair.
LBC Annual Business/ Entrepreneurial Expo & Trade-fair provides an avenue for both members and non-members, entrepreneurs/ professionals/ leaders in various fields as well as Business/ Financial experts to come together in a round table to look at contemporary issues in the business world as well as issues confronting Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) and ways to tackle these challenges.

The Expo will take the form of workshops, conferences/ seminars, consultation/counselling forum (where experts in various field and business endeavours will take time to provide business advise/ consultation for attendees.

The Expo would also provide avenue for businesses both small and great to offer the goods and services for sale to members of the public in the LBC annual Trade-fair.

§  LBC’s Annual Leadership Conference.
The leadership conference provides avenue for members and non-members to develop their leadership potentials through discussions, interactive sessions, practical sections and symposium on various leadership issues facing businesses, individuals, the family unit and the Nigerian society.

§  LBC’s Mid-Year Youth Empowerment/ Skill Acquisition Workshop.
This is slated to occur once at the middle of the year with its primary focus being the organization of skill acquisition training/ programmes targeted at empowering young people in various forms of endeavours.

The training is usually divided into two segment having the training workshop where attendees are taken through practical training in a particular skill and then the managerial training where attendees are taken through a class room lecture on how to set up, manage both resources, personnel and promote a new/ existing business.

Note: Based on availability of sponsors, attendees might be provided with machinery to help set up businesses, locations or loans or financing of businesses.

§  LBC’s Community Development/ Social Week.
At LBC we realize that a man’s life does not start and end with all that he has or can acquire but how much value and positive influence he/she can have on others around him. Therefore, LBC Community Development/ social week is geared towards the provision of humanitarian services to members of the public.

The week also includes carrying out of voluntary works in the society, promotion of developmental projects, societal facelift, environmental improvement programmes, beautification schemes etc.

The week also provides an opportunity to reach out to the needy and less priviledged in the society as well as the provision of educational support/ scholarship to students/ individuals of school age at various level.


§  LBC’s Thrift Club.
This is a club whose primary aim is to help create the saving culture in members and further encourage members through the addition of interest on such savings overtime.

It shall also provide opportunity for longstanding, committed and faithful members to have access to small loans for their businesses with little interest rate.

§  LBC’s Investment/ Shareholder’s Club.
Everyone must make a concerted effort to ensure that every day that passes things keep getting better and better and the future looks brighter.

LBC I.S. Club is meant to bring members with required specific amount of funds together to invest in a carefully thought of business opportunity to be managed by certified financial/business experts where each member is entitled to Return On Investment (ROI) overtime. These businesses are usually set up after feasibility studies have being conducted. These investors are therefore called shareholders.

§  LBC’s Monthly Leaders Meeting.
LBC monthly meeting provides an opportunity for members to meet regularly at a stipulated date and venue monthly to receive specific trainings, interactive sessions, lectures, workshops and conferences on various leadership and business related issues at no additional cost to members. It is a member-only meeting.

Such meetings provide members with information on business opportunities and how to exploit them. It provides an avenue for members to network and exchange ideas through the like-minds club. Gives rooms for members to participate in the regular self/ business/ leadership assessment test.
